WESTON, Florida, August 2018 – For the third consecutive year, Cleveland Clinic has been ranked as the number 2 hospital in the United States by US News & World Report; In addition, it is number 1 in urology and retains its position as the country’s number 1 hospital in cardiology and heart surgery, a position it has held for 24 consecutive years. Cleveland Clinic Florida is ranked number 1 in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale market for 2018-2019, according to the annual “Better Hospitals” report recently published by U.S. News & World Report.

Cleveland Clinic Florida reached the “high performance” category in four specialties: Cancer, Diabetes and Endocrinology, Geriatrics, and Neurology and Neurosurgery.

For the first time, Cleveland Clinic Florida also achieved the “high performance” category in nine common conditions and procedures evaluated by US News & World Report: Abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, aortic valve surgery, heart bypass surgery, heart failure, surgery of colon cancer, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, hip replacement, knee replacement and lung cancer surgery.
